A long, thin tea board (chaban, 茶盤) for gongfu brewing: the teapot sits over a shallow well cut into the wood, so the rinse water and spills drain away instead of spreading across the table. Cut from a single plank in natural bamboo, dark carbonised bamboo or walnut, with a round, square or rectangular well.
