A small porcelain rest with two notches — one for a pair of chopsticks, one for a soup spoon — so neither touches the table between bites. Painted in blue on white in five patterns named after the seasons: early spring, deep winter, sky blue, indigo and an antique blue. Sold individually; a stack of five looks like a little tower.
