A long plate shaped like a single leaf (ha, 葉), with a rough, textured glaze that changes from the stem to the tip. Ink black, moss green, river snow (a speckled white) or sand brown. It is a sushi plate, a plate for three pieces of grilled fish, or a plate for a slice of cake and nothing else on it.
