A small comb (kushi, 櫛) cut from a single piece of bamboo, with wide rounded teeth that glide through wet or dry hair without pulling and never build up static the way plastic does. It fits a pocket or a wash bag, and it smells faintly of wood when it is new. One, or a set of two or three for the family.
