The glaze on these bowls shifts in the kiln from deep indigo to a pale, glowing blue — the potters call it cat-eye. No two are quite alike. The 8.5-inch ramen bowl takes a full portion of noodles and broth; the 4.5-inch rice bowl sits comfortably in one hand.
