A plate shaped like an open folding fan (ōgi, 扇), with fine ridges running out from the pivot like the fan’s ribs. Four stone-like glazes: brown, marble grey, rust-speckled white and a black with heavy dots. Set two or three at angles on the table for sushi, tempura or cheese, and the arrangement does the work.
