A single calligraphy brush with a firm wolf-and-horse-hair tip on a dark lacquered wooden handle. Stiffer than sheep hair, so it holds a sharp point and gives a clean, confident line — the brush for kanji, sumi-e branches and anyone who has found soft brushes too floppy. Three tip sizes; the handle is 24.5 cm on all three.
