A shallow rattan basket for bread at the table — round or oval, with or without a loose linen liner that folds over the loaf to keep it warm. Off the table it holds fruit, napkins, or the day’s post. The rattan is hand-woven and pale, and it darkens gently with the years.

Hand-woven rattan; optional linen liner. Round 20, 22 or 25 cm; Oval 17 × 12 cm or 25 × 15 cm; all about 8 cm deep. Keep dry; liner is machine washable.
